Bhuikhel Football Club is thrilled to introduce the
1st Ghodejatra Open 6a side tournament, scheduled from the 23rd to the 26th of Chaitra, 2080.

Our tournament embodies the spirit of inclusivity, welcoming players of all backgrounds and skill levels to come together in the name of football. With a focus on fair play, sportsmanship, and respect, we aim to create an unforgettable experience both on and off the field. From grassroots clubs to local communities, we invite participants and spectators alike to join us in celebrating the universal language of football and writing the first chapter of what promises to be an incredible tradition for years to come.

Rules

All participating clubs must carefully read the following rules and adhere to them strictly.

  • 01 The tie-sheet will be drawn in the presence of representatives from all teams.
  • 02 The tournament will be organized in a knockout stage format.
  • 03 Each team will comprise a total of 10 players, including 4 substitutes. All substitutes can be used during each game.
  • 04 The goal posts will be of a smaller size, and no goalkeeper will be required. The specific dimensions will be updated on the website.
  • 05 There are no restrictions on age or other criteria; this is an open tournament.
  • 06 Each game will consist of two halves lasting 20 minutes each, totaling 40 minutes. From the semi-finals onwards, games will extend to 60 minutes, divided into two halves of 30 minutes each. The final match will last for 70 minutes, with each half lasting 35 minutes.
  • 07 The referee's decision is final. All referees in this tournament are registered with the All Nepal Referee Association.
  • 08 Each team must have their own jerseys for game convenience. While having two different sets is recommended, it is not compulsory.
  • 09 Football shoes are mandatory. Players must use shin pads at their own risk.
  • 10 All player photos must be attested by the organizer's deadline (minimum of 6 players). Failure to submit photos and identification by the deadline may lead to protests from opponents, and the organizer will not intervene.
  • 11 Team manager citizenship is compulsory required
  • 12The organizer will handle minor injuries, while each team's management is responsible for serious cases.
  • 13 Teams must arrive half an hour before kick-off. Failure to do so, without notifying the organizer, may result in a walkover for the opposing team.
  • 14 Any extra game rules will be communicated by the referee prior to kickoff.
  • 15 If there are any changes to match schedules, the organizer will promptly notify the respective teams.
  • 16 To ensure fair play, players are fined for misconduct or fouls, with Rs. 300/- for a yellow card and Rs. 500/- for a red card. Teams must deposit Rs. 1000/- before each game, refunding any remaining amount post-game after deducting fines. This provision aims to maintain game control.
